Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TradingNX Risk Manager collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use the TradingNX web dashboard, API, MCP server, OAuth connection, and ChatGPT app integration.

Who we are

TradingNX Risk Manager is operated by TradingNX. The product provides educational trading risk-management calculations, saved risk profiles, risk-check history, daily loss tracking, and discipline reports. It does not place trades, connect to brokerage accounts, transfer money, custody assets, or provide investment advice.

Information you provide directly

We collect information that you choose to provide when using the service, including:

• Account information such as email address, display name, password hash, login sessions, subscription plan, and account creation or update timestamps.
• Risk profile settings such as account size, account currency, default risk percentage, maximum risk per trade, maximum daily loss, maximum open risk, maximum trades per day, maximum leverage, minimum risk/reward, allowed setups, primary instruments, checklist requirements, and news or discipline rules.
• Trade risk-check inputs such as instrument, asset class, long or short direction, account size, entry price, stop loss, target price, risk amount, risk percentage, contract size, tick size, tick value, pip size, pip value, daily loss amount, open risk amount, trades taken today, consecutive losses, setup name, checklist confirmations, support, resistance, ATR, fees, slippage, leverage, and broker or exchange sizing details you enter.
• Generated risk-check outputs such as position size, lots, contracts, shares or coin amount, risk/reward, planned reward, daily loss exposure, open risk exposure, checklist status, warnings, rule violations, score breakdown, next-best-action text, TradingNX Risk Score, and report history.
• Support, billing, or account messages you send to us.

Information collected through ChatGPT and MCP

When you use the TradingNX Risk Manager ChatGPT app, ChatGPT may send our MCP server the tool inputs needed to complete your request. This can include the trade-plan, risk-profile, account-status, daily-tracker, and discipline-report information listed above. We return tool outputs to ChatGPT so ChatGPT can display the risk calculation, visual report card, warnings, saved profile status, plan-limit status, or dashboard link.

If you connect a TradingNX account to ChatGPT using OAuth, we process the OAuth authorization code, access token, scopes, token creation time, token last-used time, and revocation state needed to maintain or revoke the connection. We do not receive your ChatGPT password.

Do not submit information you do not want processed by TradingNX Risk Manager, such as broker passwords, exchange API keys, private wallet keys, tax identifiers, full payment card numbers, or unrelated sensitive personal information.

Information collected automatically

We may collect limited technical information required to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, request path, timestamps, authentication state, error logs, and security events. We use this information to keep the service available, detect abuse, debug failures, protect accounts, and comply with platform or legal obligations.

How we use information

We use information for the following purposes:

• To create and manage TradingNX accounts, login sessions, OAuth connections, and ChatGPT account linking.
• To calculate trade risk, position size, risk/reward, daily loss exposure, open risk exposure, checklist status, warnings, rule violations, and TradingNX Risk Score.
• To save risk profiles, risk-check history, daily tracker data, usage limits, and discipline analytics for connected users and paid plan features.
• To show dashboard pages, visual report cards, CSV or JSON exports, plan status, account status, and billing links.
• To process password resets, support requests, account deletion requests, and security requests.
• To enforce free, Pro, and Elite plan limits and prevent misuse, spam, unauthorized access, or policy violations.
• To maintain, debug, secure, and improve TradingNX Risk Manager.

How we do not use information

TradingNX Risk Manager does not use your data to place trades, submit orders, transfer money, custody assets, connect to brokerage accounts, or provide personalized investment recommendations. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your broker credentials because you should not provide them to the service.

Who we share personal data with

TradingNX may share personal data with the following third parties or categories of recipients only as needed to provide, secure, bill for, support, and review TradingNX Risk Manager:

• OpenAI / ChatGPT: When you use the ChatGPT app, OpenAI may send TradingNX the tool inputs needed for the requested action and may receive the tool outputs returned by TradingNX, such as risk reports, account-link status, warnings, plan-limit status, and dashboard links.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers: Providers that host or operate the TradingNX website, dashboard, API, MCP server, databases, logs, backups, TLS certificates, and network services may process account data, trade-risk inputs and outputs, OAuth data, session data, IP addresses, user-agent data, request metadata, and error logs.
• Payment processors, including Stripe: Payment providers may process billing email, checkout session data, customer IDs, subscription IDs, payment status, invoice data, tax-related checkout information, plan name, cancellation status, and webhook events. TradingNX does not store full card numbers.
• Email and communication providers: Email providers may process email address, password reset links, account notices, support messages, and service notifications.
• Security, legal, accounting, and compliance recipients: Professional advisers, authorities, auditors, or compliance reviewers may receive limited account, billing, security, log, or usage information where necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate abuse, protect users, resolve disputes, enforce terms, or meet accounting obligations.
• Business transfer recipients: If TradingNX is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, relevant account, subscription, usage, and product data may be shared with the parties involved, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

We do not share personal data with brokers or exchanges, because TradingNX Risk Manager does not connect to brokerage accounts, execute trades, or require broker credentials.

Payments and billing data

Paid subscriptions are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. TradingNX may store payment-provider customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan names, subscription status, invoice or checkout status, billing email, and webhook events needed to unlock or revoke paid features. Full card numbers, bank details, and wallet credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored on TradingNX Risk Manager servers.

Data retention

We keep account information, saved risk profiles, OAuth connection records, subscription status, and risk-check history while your account is active or while needed to provide the service. Login sessions are designed to expire after a limited period. OAuth authorization codes are short lived. Password reset records expire or become unusable after use.

If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify account data, saved profiles, integration tokens, and risk-check history unless we need to keep limited records for security, fraud prevention, billing, accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of our Terms. Backup copies and logs may persist for a limited time before being overwritten in the ordinary course of operations.

User controls and choices

You can control your information in the following ways:

• Use the dashboard to view or update your risk profile and account settings where available.
• Choose what trade inputs and risk-profile details you provide to ChatGPT or the TradingNX dashboard.
• Disconnect or revoke ChatGPT access from your TradingNX account or from ChatGPT app settings where available.
• Cancel paid subscriptions through the payment provider or customer portal where available.
• Request access, correction, export, or deletion of your TradingNX account data by contacting support.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and service data, including password hashing, session tokens, OAuth tokens, HTTPS endpoints, and access controls. No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for not entering broker passwords, exchange API keys, wallet keys, or other secrets into TradingNX Risk Manager.

International processing

Your information may be processed in countries where TradingNX, OpenAI, hosting providers, payment providers, email providers, or support providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Children

TradingNX Risk Manager is not designed for or marketed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, data uses, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows when the policy was last updated.
